Vicissitudes of investigative action in times of pandemic: a narrative of postgraduate
Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the crossing of the COVID-19 pandemic in investigating postgraduate students. To this end, we seek support in the Narrative Research by Clandinin and Connelly (2011), as well as in works on the experience of teachers and students at postgraduate, in order to take their own narrative as active participants in a postgraduate Program at the University Federal of Pará in the year 2020. From the investigation, it was possible to perceive that the perspectives regarding postgraduate studies rested on the configuration of an investigative activity characterized by fruitful academic productions, however such perspectives were transforming into frustration and unproductiveness due to suspension of program activities. In addition, we list decisive aspects for us to perceive an adaptation of investigative practice in this context. In this way, investigating the narrative itself proved to be a relevant activity while working in postgraduate, since it allowed us to understand the complexities of this experience in a more in-deeper way.
