Standards for Virtual Reference Services

Abstract

Nowadays, standard seems to be very important and necessary in all aspects of the life Including reference services in libraries. This article is to survey the role of standards in electronic reference services and also considers some sample application instructions which are presented in the DuPont- University. By the end, the guide for digital reference services which is called ifla is presented for those who are interested in digital reference services
