Abstract
The effect of introduction of autologous multipotent mesenchymal stem cells of bone marrow origin (MSC) with a GFP gene and additionally marked by DAPI dye for cellular nuclei into the area close to the thrombosed vein of a rat's hind leg has been studied by using methods of luminescent microscopy. It has been revealed that MSC take are involved in the development of granulations in a place of surgical intervention performed at the time of thrombosis modeling. Restoration of the blood flow in the thrombosed main vein always follows as a result of thrombolysis. No signs of MSC embedded in the walls of the thrombosed vessels have been noticed. Recanalization of blood clots and formation of collaterals hasn't been observed. When modeling thrombosis by introducing athrombin and ligating the main vein, the latter's small tributaries also get thrombosed. Restoration of blood flow in the tributaries occurs with involvement of embedded MSC either through recanalization of blood clots or through obliteration of thrombosed vessels and formation of new ones. Accumulated MSC and the structures generated with their participation are forced out by the organism-recipient's own cells.
