De la euforia a la decepción: la prensa inglesa ante el levantamiento español
Abstract
The Spanish uprising against the French eagles made an enormous impact on England. For some months, a country which had been traditionally considered as the enemy aroused the public opinion’s interest. Aware of this fact, the press tried to keep its readership always informed. The conflict in Spain caused a great battle of information in London, where correspondents were sent to the Peninsula. This paper shall offer a working scope of the different mastheads since Bailén to the recall of Moore.
