Bit depth enhancement method for low-contrast images based on sequence image fusion
Abstract
To improve the visual effect of low-contrast images, a low-contrast image bit depth enhancement method based on sequence image fusion is proposed. The low-contrast image neighbourhood pixels are randomly discarded through Bernoulli trials. The corresponding weights of the local variance and deviation of the reserved pixels are obtained. The signal is used to build a denoising model, and the model is solved by the steepest descent method to complete the low-contrast image denoising process. Taking the denoised image as input, the useful information and features of the image are calculated, and the weight value is obtained. At the same time, the image is standardized, and different fusion rules are used to perform low-contrast image bit depth enhancement processing on the standardized sequence images. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively remove image noise, improve the image enhancement effect, and reduce the running time.
