QUALIDADE DE VIDA NO TRABALHO (QVT): UM ESTUDO EM UMA INSTITUIÇÃO FEDERAL DE ENSINO SUPERIOR
Abstract
The Quality of Life at Work has been gaining representativeness over the years due to the changes in the work environment, moving from purely labor relations to an awareness that the work environment also interferes in the worker's quality of life. This article aims to analyze the quality of life at work in the perception of public servants in a Federal Institution of Higher Education - IFES located in Mossoró/RN. This research is classified as applied and of quantitative-qualitative character, as regards the objectives it is classified as exploratory and descriptive and as technical procedures it is characterized as a case study. The data were collected through a questionnaire adapted from Diniz (2010), elaborated on the 8 dimensions of Walton (1973). After analysis, the result indicated that the IFES satisfactorily develops actions that promote the QWL of its servers. This is evidenced by higher averages reached in dimensions 2 (Working Conditions) and 5 (Social Integration in the Organization). It is concluded that the organization seeks to promote a quality of life in the work of its employees, impacting on the improvement of the service provided to the population.
