HIGH-TECHNOLOGICAL MEDICAL AID IN ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROME IN THE UDMURT REPUBLIC
Abstract
Objective: Assess the role of high-technological medical aid in the dynamic of mortality from coronary artery disease (CAD) in Udmurt Republic (UR). Methods: The article contains analysis of the data from Rosstat, reports of the Ministry of Health of the UR on the health status of the UR population, the number of death cases as a result of CAD and extensive myocardial infraction in various districts and cities of the UR, the number of persons referred from district hospitals to the primary cardio-vascular centers. Results: From data review of the Rosstat and the Ministry of Health of the UR shows that the mortality rate reduced in districts, where patients were mostly referred to the cardio-vascular centers, and further to the regional cardio-vascular center for percutaneous intervention. Conclusion: In the context of restructuring the hospital network, creation of primary and regional cardio-vascular centers, surgery and X-ray endovascular units scientific substantiation technologies and result oriented programs of finance become more relevant. It is necessary in further to develop the system of primary and regional cardio-vascular centers for timely rendering first aid and delivery of patients for myocardial revascularization, and especially for reduction of mortality from acute coronary syndrome.
