Enquête auprès de la population du Grand Tunis sur les connaissances et les attitudes en matière de santé sexuelle et reproductive ainsi que sur la réception des messages de prévention
Abstract
In Tunisia, there have as yet been no studies of how messages on sexual and reproductive health have been received by the general public. This study seeks to draw up a profile of Tunisians’ knowledge about, attitudes towards, and reception of sexual and reproductive health messages for use in designing and planning more effective information, education, and communication strategies. The study addressed four areas: family planning, HIV/AIDS, breast cancer prevention, and the struggle against gender-based violence. An analysis was made of campaigns in the mainstream media (television, radio, and print) and in urban billboard advertising.
