Patrimonio y turismo: la activación turística patrimonial de Purificación (Paysandú, Uruguay)
Abstract
Activation heritage tourism, as a process, is starting first with the introduction of the reference value of assets. You must also have a proper environment for preservation and contemplation, in addition to the support and willingness of political power if the initiative comes from a social actor. In any process of activation heritage tourism, preservation, coordination with other regional and national policies, participation of local society and human capital are key factors in a responsible planning that will help to diversify the tourist proposal of a specific territory and helping to generate any positive impact of social and economic order in the area.
