This work had the objective of analyzing some physicochemical parameters of artesian wells located in the city of Remígio / PB, which are used for the consumption of the population. The study was developed in the city of Remígio / PB. The samples of water destined for the physical-chemical analyzes were collected in 2-liter plastic bottles in 4 artesian wells located in the urban area of the city of Remígio / PB and were referred to the Chemistry Laboratory (LQ) of the Federal Institute of Paraíba, campus Campina Grande, for the analysis. All analyzes were performed in triplicate. The parameters analyzed and the methods of analysis were as follows: pH, apparent color, temperature, electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids and ash percentage. According to the physicochemical aspects evaluated, based on Ordinance No. 2.914 / 2011, it was concluded that all the samples had an acid pH, ranging from 4.5 to 5.9, not meeting the stipulated standards; With respect to the apparent color, all the samples met the current standard, except for the water collected in well 2, which presented a value of 500 uH; The electrical conductivity of the waters ranged from 370.0 to 557.1 μs / cm at the mean temperature of 26 oC; With respect to Total Dissolved Solids, the samples presented values that ranged from 180.6 to 268.3 PPM at an average temperature of 25.9 oC, being therefore within the established standards; The ash content for the collected water samples ranged from 0.5816 to 0.8587 cz, for the percentage of ash at 5g, and ranged from 0.1936 to 0.2934 cz for ash percentage at 18g.
