Research progress of anesthesia management in cesarean section for maternal obesity
Abstract
The incidence of obesity in pregnant women has been rapidly increasing worldwide, and the incidence and mortality of anesthesia-related complications during cesarean section surgery have been increased by pathophysiological changes of obese parturients. This article reviews the pathophysiological characteristics of obese parturients, as well as their difficulties and challenges in anesthesia management, discusses in detail the mechanisms and prevention strategies of anesthesia-related complications in obese parturients, and summarizes the management strategies of postpartum analgesia, aiming to provide scientific theoretical guidance for better improving the safety of cesarean section in obese parturients.
