O potrzebie badań empirycznych w pedagogice. Kilka refleksji i postulatów teoretyczno-metodologicznych

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest opisanie i ocena podejść teoretyczno-metodologicznych w projektowanych badaniach empirycznych w pedagogice. Zwracamy uwagę, że pedagogika, a wraz z nią badania edukacyjne mają kluczowe znaczenie dla ogólnego rozwoju rożnych dziedzin nauki i uczenia się jako całości. Są one istotne, ponieważ dążą do opisania, zrozumienia i wyjaśnienia, w jaki sposób uczenie się odbywa się przez całe życie człowieka oraz jak formalne i nieformalne konteksty edukacji wpływają na wszystkie formy uczenia się na rożnych poziomach (począwszy od mikro aż do makro) rozumienia procesów edukacyjnych. Badania edukacyjne powinny zatem stać się priorytetem, ponieważ odgrywają istotną rolę w zrozumieniu procesów wychowania, uczenia, nauczania, edukowania itp., oraz ich teoretyczno-koncepcyjnego definiowania i sprawdzania rzetelności w ramach adekwatnych do potrzeb jednostki i społeczeństwa programów nauczania i formułowania polityki oświatowej, tak aby nauki pedagogiczne gwarantowały najwyższą jakość wychowania i kształcenia w kraju oraz mogły się rozwijać na wysokim poziomie w obrębie międzynarodowych badań edukacyjnych. Dlatego powinno się zwrócić uwagę na aspekty, które pozwolą pedagogice i badaniom edukacyjnym uzyskać odpowiedni status w dziedzinie rodzimych nauk społecznych i humanistycznych, a w rezultacie doprowadzić do ich umiędzynarodowienia. On the Need for Empirical Research in Pedagogy: Some Reflections and Theoretical and Methodological Demands The purpose of this article is to describe and evaluate theoretical and methodological approaches in designed empirical research in pedagogy. We point out that pedagogy and with it educational research are crucial to the overall development of various fields of study and learning as a whole. They are important because they seek to describe, understand and explain how learning takes place throughout a person’s life and how the formal and informal contexts of education affect all forms of learning at different levels (from micro to macro) of understanding educational processes. Educational research should therefore become a priority, as it plays an important role for understanding the processes of upbringing, teaching, learning, educating, etc., and their theoretical and conceptual definition and reliability testing within the framework of adequate curricula for the individual and society and the formulation of educational policy. So that pedagogical sciences guarantee the highest quality of upbringing and education in the country and can develop at the height of the international educational research. Therefore, attention should be paid to the aspects that will allow pedagogy and educational research to obtain the appropriate status in the field of domestic social sciences and humanities and, as a result, their internationalization.
