The social differentiation of society, its division into a huge number of social groups, each of which has specific economic, cultural and other interests, creates a need for representation and consideration of these interests in public administration courses. It is about establishing stable communication channels between society and the state. One of the most effective and widespread channels of such interaction is a political party. Transformations in Ukrainian society, changes in social development orientations, and modern military realities force us to pay close attention to political governance and, in particular, to parties as one of the main subjects of state governance. Political parties act as mechanisms of political acquisition of power through elections and influence the formation of state policy and decisions. Political parties appeared as a result of the development of parliamentarism, ideologies and the birth of democratic traditions in the 19th century. They became important in the context of the transition to democratic forms of government, replacing totalitarian, monarchical and authoritarian systems. The development of political parties is connected with economic progress and social development. Today, the presence of structured and multifunctional political parties is a sign of high development of society, civic culture and tolerance. They exist in most countries and in all political systems. The role of political parties is to create public policy and participate in public administration. The influence of political parties on state activity varies depending on the form of government and the type of electoral system in different countries. The study of power and management is impossible without analyzing the activities of political parties in power structures. They are the focus of attention when studying state policy and political processes. Ukraine also has a developed institution of political parties that participate in the formation of state policy and influence public administration. Given the importance of these processes, political parties are the focus of this article.
