Sensitivity Analysis of Design Parameters for Suspended Monorail Single-ribbed Arch Bridge
Abstract
[Objective] As there are few case studies on suspended monorail single-ribbed arch bridge, it is necessary to analyze the sensitivity of different design parameters to better instruct the design and construction of the bridge. [Method] With a tourism air train project in Hunan Province as the background, the Midas-Civil space rod system model and ANSYS plate-shell element model are used to calculate and analyze the single-ribbed double-line arch bridge, which is of 60m span and uses steel box arch with rigid boom, and rigidly connected arch, beam and pier. The influence of different design parameters on the sensitivity of track beam stiffness, main beam stress and main beam distortion is studied. The sensitivity evaluation index of design parameters is put forward, which is divided into three grades according to the sensitivity factors 10% and 5%, and the sensitivity difference of the main design parameters is obtained. [Result & Conclusion] The sagittal span ratio of arch bridge, the dimensions of middle beam and pier are sensitive parameters in sequence to the vertical deflection of main beam, the horizontal and transverse displacement of main beam and the turning angle of beam end. The spacing between stiffeners of the main beam is a sensitive parameter to the stress of the main beam and the distortion in the midspan, and the thickness of main beam web plate is a sensitive parameter to the warpage of beam end. For suspended monorail single-ribbed arch bridge, the stiffness index overweighs the stress index in the bridge design, and reasonable design parameters should be adopted in the design.
