LAS SOCIEDADES COOPERATIVAS DE SEGUNDO GRADO COMO INSTRUMENTO DE COOPERACIÓN ENTRE COOPERATIVAS: ASPECTOS ECONÓMICOS Y ORGANIZATIVOS
Abstract
Our goal is to analyze the peculiarities of second degree cooperatives like a way of cooperation among cooperatives. We focus on the features that differentiate them from first degree cooperatives. For this purpose we specially emphasize on the organizational structure, mainly on their governance organs and on management. The importance of second degree cooperatives as a mean of cooperation to face up to environmental changes has been tested from a cooperative point of view. For this reason, we describe their relevance in Andalusia studying their evolution since 1964 till 2009.
