Valuing techniques in management systems

Abstract

The development of technology and the accumulation of technological innovations determine the environment of modern society, while technological determinism is one ofthe features of modern civilization. The purpose ofthe article is to present a methodology for evaluating a technique (technology) that uses analytical and evaluation procedures of system analysis in the technology management process. The use oftechnique evaluation procedures allows the evaluation of possible and probable effects of decisions on the choice of tech-nology that meets the criteria of multi-criteria social assessment. The possibilities of applying the “foresight” methodology in socio-political evaluation oftechnologywere presented. In addition, current global experience in the process of technology evaluation for the needs of management systems was discussed.
