What will happen in the former areas of military influence of the insurgency in Colombia after the peace accords, in terms of the use of 'natural resources' in those areas? That question that guides the present reflection is addressed from the analytical proposal of biocoloniality and in relation to the mining and biotechnological conflicts. Based on the premise that behind the political peace agreements between the government and the insurgency (FARC-EP and ELN) there is a great economic business, it is evident how processes of violence prior to mining and biotechnology will be legitimized. I will conclude that under this premise, understood as a conception of peace, neither life (human and non-human) is respected and other conflicts and disputes will be generated that will have to be resolved in post-conflict scenario, suggesting to think a peace, otherwise.
