It was analyzed the understandings comparatively on the teaching formation process of two groups of students, in the extent of the discipline of teaching practices and supervised apprenticeship of the degree in Physics: two doctoral candidates in Physics and two students that, already acting since the second year of the course as teachers opted exclusively for the degree. The information and developed analyses, by the literature of teacher’s education, allowed us to locate points of larger difficulty confronted/acknowledge for these two groups, in their teaching formation process. It was also possible to recognize potentialities for the confrontation of the challenges in the pre-service education and in the constitution of a professional identity.
