Multiple cerebral infarctions in a patient having acute pancreatitis

Abstract

Acute pancreatitis (AP) is known to have systemic, local, and vascular complications. Multiple cerebral infarctions are a very rare complication of AP. This is a case of idiopathic severe AP with sepsis in which the patient developed multiple cerebral infarcts. The patient was treated conservatively and later improved with supportive care.
