Penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII.A semester I SMP Negeri 3 Denpasar tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Jenis pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII. A yang berjumlah 36 orang dan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar matematika siswa. Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode tes hasil belajar yang selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini adalah daya serap siswa mencapai ≥ 75 dengan ketuntasan belajar ≥ 85%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada siklus I nilai rata-rata prestasi hasil belajar matematika siswa rata-rata sebesar 81,94 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 83,30% dan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata prestasi hasil belajar matematika siswa sebesar 86,40 dengan ketuntasan kalsikal 91,70%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan prestasi hasil belajar matematika pada materi himpunan siswa kelas VII.A semester I SMP Negeri 3 Denpasar tahun ajaran 2018/2019. This study was to improve the learning result of class VII.A students in first semester of SMP Negeri 3 Denpasar in academic year 2018/2019 through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning learning model. The type of implementation of this research was classroom action research. The subjects in the study were VII grade students. The total was 36 people and the object of this research was the result of students' mathematics learning. The Learning result data were collected by using the learning result test method which was then analyzed descriptively. The indicator of success in this study was ≥ 75 with learning completeness ≥ 85%. The results showed that the first cycle of the average score of students' mathematics learning achievement was 81.94 with 83.30% and in the second cycle of the average value of students' mathematics learning achievement was 86.40 with 91.70%. Based on the results of this study, it has been showed that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the achievement of mathematics learning result of the VII.A students semester I at SMP Negeri 3 Denpasar in academic year 2018/2019.
