Hanging Out in Social Spaces: The Two of Us

Abstract

This paper draws on the experience of two members of the Canberra Institute of Technology counselling and equity team who have been involved in developing and now working on a project to bring the skills of a youth worker into the team. It was hoped that the presence of a youth worker would give the team a broader reach and more options of working positively with young people.
