Abstract

One of the freedoms enjoyed by the citizens of the European Union is the free movement of workers, which includes the rights of movement and residence of workers, the right of entry and residence of family members and the right to work in another EU Member State And be treated in the same way as nationals of that Member State. In certain countries, restrictions apply to citizens of Member States who have recently joined the EU. In this context, it is important to approach the mobility of the workforce within the Eurozone, in view of the treaties, regulations and jurisprudence applied to the subject, so as to have a parameter of this mobility in the current context of the European Union.
