BRIEF RADIOGRAPHY OF THE (IN) INTERNAL MIGRATION AND LABOR SEGMENTATION OF SINALOA
Abstract
The objective of this work is to analyze internal migration in the State of Sinaloa, both those of expulsion and those of attraction to the region, in order to understand the characteristics that help to understand Sinaloan migratory flows, finding results that suggest that internal migration, even given its weak economy and other factors, has an impact on the insertion of migrants from other entities in different jobs, which is subordinated to their educational background or violence. The study is based on the analysis of the intercensal sample of the National Institute of Statistics and Geography, INEGI, 2015; National Survey of Occupation and Employment, ENOE, 2016, in which internal displacements in Sinaloa are investigated. In this sample, the population development in certain regions is visualized, as well as how different labor markets converge to allow Sinaloa's people to migrate or to achieve their labor insertion.
