Supervision of the Appeal Judge in Administrative Dispute
Abstract
Up to 1950 the State legal advisor was the only judicial body of general supervision for administrative disputes. Today, since their foundation in 1953, administrative courts are first instance judicial bodies in administrative disputes. After 1953, administrative courts were established in order to ease the burden of the State Legal Advisor. Thirty years later, that is, in 1980, it was again inundated by numerous appeals so that not a single case was able to be resolved in less than three years after it had been submitted for appeal. Therefore, the law of 31 December 1987, in order to improve that situation, provided that appeal administrative courts be established at an interregional level.
