The first finding of the crab Ctenocheles (Decapoda) in Oligocene beds in Slovenia

Abstract

In the paper remains of crabs of genus Ctenocheles are discussed. They were found in the Oligocene grey marly mudstone at Čeplje at Vransko. This is the first evidence of this crab genus in Slovenia. In the Oligocene mudstone at ^eplje also numerous other fossilremains were registred, and also abundant septarian concretions.
