Conceptual basis of flow management in the system of logistic support of the armed forces of Ukraine

Abstract

The problem of management of information and material flows in the system of logistic support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is researched. The functions that rely on the logistic support system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are considered. Using the method of system analysis and one of the functions of logistic support, namely maintenance and restoration of armaments and military equipment, the structure of the executive logistic support system is proposed and the structure of information flows occurring in the system of logistics at all levels of the hierarchy from strategic to tactical is developed. It is determined that effective management of information flows will depend on the degree of automation of the logistics system. The components of an automated control system are proposed, on the basis of which the control system will automatically predict the need for military units (units) in material and technical means, determine at what time they should be submitted, in what volume and optimal route of their transportation.
