Picture of Arkadiy Gornfeld as a literature critic The main subject of the article is a career of Arkadiy Gornfeld – representative figure of the Russian psychological school. The scientist has coined the concept of “psychological biography”. Using it, he provides analysis and evaluation of works of art and literature. The articles of Gornfeld are synthetic. They join psychological, historical and comparative methods of analyses.
