This study aims to systematize the conceptual framework of quantities and measurement in mathematics and the presentation of geometric quantities and measurement in the 2018 Mathematics curriculum for secondary education. The research focuses on analyzing the treatment of the concept of length measurement of line segments; area and measurement of polygons; volume and measurement of solid shapes in textbooks. Consequently, the study investigates effective teaching strategies for the concepts of quantities and measurement: length measurement of line segments, area of polygons, and volume of solid shapes. The article demonstrates effective lesson organization for teaching the concept of length measurement of line segments through illustrated lesson plans, providing specific guidance for secondary school teachers in teaching Mathematics, particularly regarding geometric quantities and measurement.
