After the announcement of the end of military operations-2016 in the city of Mosul, it has become essential to thoroughly assess the reconstruction options of the old city and offer appropriate alternatives to begin the implementation phase. (Delete The) Nuri Mosque, with its minaret, is the most important historical monument in the Old City of Mosul, which has suffered extensive damages. The experts are required to conduct specialized studies for its reconstruction in an appropriate manner to its original construction. The research aims to review and analyze the proposed alternatives and possible solutions for the reconstruction of the Hadba minaret, and to determine the acceptable ones according to the relevant international laws and legislations. Then comparing between the characteristics and advantages of each alternatives for the purpose of identifying the optimal one for reconstructing the minaret. The research will implement the comparative method through an analytical and evaluation approach based on similar experiences.
