A Study of the Impacts of Cooperation in Technoparks Companies on Innovation by Using Meta Analysis Technique(Teknopark Firmalarında İşbirliğinin Yenilikçilik Üzerine Etkilerinin Meta Analiz Tekniği Kullanarak İncelenmesi)

Abstract

Science and technology parks are organizations that aim to increase the welfare and competitiveness of the society. According to the data of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, there are 89 technoparks in our country. Technopark firms have the ability to produce new technology. Among the basic founding objectives of technoparks, there are qualifications such as ensuring university-industry cooperation and providing collaborative environments that support innovation for companies. In this study, the effect of the collaborative environment provided by technoparks to companies on the innovation capacity of companies was investigated. Meta analysis technique was used as a research method. In the meta-analysis method, new and generalizable results are obtained by applying statistical analysis to the quantitative data obtained from different studies. A total of 6 studies detected were included in the meta-analysis within the scope of this study. The total number of samples in the studies included in the analysis was 2103. According to meta analysis results, the studies included in the research were in the heterogeneous form. The overall effect size of these studies was determined to be high according to the classification made for the correlation coefficient. In addition, the positivity of the effect size indicates that the collaborative approach of technopark companies has a positive effect on innovation. However, the fact that the companies are within the metropolitan boundaries or employing more than 100 personnel has not been found to have a distinctive effect on their collaborative attitudes
