Take Wuhushan Coal Mine 010908 working face as the background, theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and field measurement are used to study the influence of shallow buried depth gas working face gas drainage on goaf spontaneous combustion “three zones”. Results show that when the absolute gas emission is in equilibrium with the air leakage in goaf, the coupling effect of gas on spontaneous combustion of coal will be obvious. When the air leakage in goaf is less than the absolute gas emission, the spontaneous combustion of residual coal in goaf will be hindered. On the contrary, when the air leakage is greater than the gas emission, the spontaneous combustion of residual coal in goaf is less affected by the gas emission. The higher the distance between the upper borehole and the working face is, the longer the air leakage path inside the goaf is, and the oxidation zone and asphyxiation zone in the goaf expand deeper into the goaf, but the oxidation zone on the side near the working face does not change significantly.
