The researchers have conducted a comprehensive analysis of both the original material characteristics and the available information on phase-structural transformations during cooling, glass transition and crystallization of melts, with detailed tracking of their ordering with using the methods as synchrotron X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry measurements, and with the interpretation of data by molecular dynamic simulation and thermodynamic calculations.
