Abstract

Patients with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome present a sustained heart rate increaseduring orthostasis. We present a patient with previous history of recurrent syncopediagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome using the Tilt-test. Beta-Blockerstreatment was effective and helped the patient to stay asymptomatic.
