De quelques mémoires coloniales africaines toujours incontestées : territoires, lieux, figures

Abstract

Based on the presentation of several exemplary situations, in Senegal, in Ivory Coast and in Congo-Brazzaville, but also based on the more general observation that the most boundaries of the current African States are the result of the divisions made by European conquerors, the article aims to show that some places, designations and emblematics figures of the colonial time, even of time of the slave trade, resist rather well to the works of decolonization witch are increasingly an important topical issue.
