Deep disagreements in the war of forms of life
Abstract
The paper resumes the contemporary discussion on deep disagreements, placing the problem in relation to the interpretations of the notions of 'form of life' and 'language games' within Wittgenstein's late Philosophy. Based on that, it provides a consistent reading by which it would be possible to think of communicational rupture within the same culture or society and, in this sense, indicates a possible way to understand the existence of a war between forms of life today, as authors linked to Agamben's thought do. Finally, the distinction between saying and showing in the final phase of wittgensteinian philosophy is resumed as an answer to the very possibility of identifying deep disagreements as such.
