The development of mining, processing, accompanied by the formation of fine-grained waste materials that must be processed and used in the treatment process. Sometimes grinding materials is a prerequisite for further processing. There are topics of dust and fine coal granulation presented, to obtain a homogeneous and persistent pieces for using in various industries. The article describes the binders and additives were added to change the properties of the granules. Discusses the key factors affecting the process of granulation of fine -grained coal. Granulated fines of coal have the most usefulness as an alternative fuel for combustion in industrial and household heating systems. However, carbon fuel requires systematic control of mechanical strength and resistance to external factors. Keywords: granulation, fine coal, dusting, management, solid fuels
