Service design for a significant experience by the revitalization of a classic street theater

Abstract

This work aims to propose an engaging experience by the revitalization of a street movie theater that existed in the city of Novo Hamburgo – Rio Grande do Sul. The movie theater under study Cine Lumière was known as the largest theater in the countryside from the 1950s to the 1980s. Through service design, the aim is to offer an alternative of leisure and culture distinct from the model of contemporary cinemas.
