The Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) has an impact on mediation procedures both on the side of the Chambers and on the side of companies, since they also need to plan and adapt for eventual sending or sharing of data, considering the handling of a dispute. In this sense, the article aims to deepen the following questions: what adjustments need to be made by the Mediation Chambers to meet the requirements of the LGPD? And how should companies plan to submit a dispute to mediation according to the LGPD parameter? The research methodology consisted of a national and foreign bibliographic review and analysis of the measures adopted within the scope of the Getulio Vargas Foundation Chamber (FGV Cam) for a practical verification.
