The study was conducted to understand the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on work motivation and job performance of medical representatives at multinational pharmaceutical companies. Quantitative research is run through a wide-area questionnaire survey with a non-probability-convenient sampling sample of 320 sales staff of pharmaceutical companies in Ho Chi Minh City. Data are used to evaluate measurement scales and test hypotheses. The results show that the four elements of CSR in the model all positively impact work motivation. Work motivation also has a positive impact on the performance of multinational pharmaceutically companies’ performance. The results raise some managerial implications for managers of multinational pharmaceutical companies to enhance their activities of CSR.
