The nature of psycho-motor activity of an individual is determined primarily by genetics, modeled by the environment and is a significant factor in the success of human adaptation to living conditions. Particularly active the specificity of neurodynamics affects the formation of adaptive reactions in childhood and adolescence, in particular, in the process of learning. The aim of the study – to learn the effectiveness of psycho-motor reactions and the general level of physical development of adolescents who are engaged in one type of educational activity. Materials and Methods. A study was conducted of the efficiency of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, a number of anthropometric indicators, the strength of the processes of excitation and inhibition, and sensorimotor reactions. Complex diagnostic computer programs "Physiologist", "Measurement of a simple auditory-motor reaction "Reaction-Test" were used. In the course of work 87 healthy young people were examined. Results and Discussion. According to the results of the study, 83.3 % of the examinees have a medium-strong nervous system and only 16.7 % have a medium-weak nervous system. Analysis of the results of the Tepping-test showed that 75 % of the examined patients had a high lability of the nervous system, 25 % had an average level of lability. A study of cardiovascular operability showed that 54 % of people had an average level of the Rufieu index, 26 % had a satisfactory level, 11 % and 9 % of those surveyed had correspondingly high and low levels of physical performance. According to the results of the evaluation of the function of external respiration, it was established that, on average, the respiratory hold-up time at the first attempt was (40.4±8.60) sec. This is the lower limit of the norm for untrained people [6]. The time of the second trial, corresponds to the norm – (18.2±2.17) sec, but the duration of the third phase is (5±1.80) sec less than the norm – (30±4.50) sec. Conclusions. It is established that 83.3 % of the examined patients have a medium-strong nervous system, while a high level of lability is characteristic of it. Rapid development of excitation and inhibition (within the limits of the norm) promotes the success of cognitive processes. The efficiency of the nervous and cardiorespiratory systems in the most of the examined corresponds to the average level. The indices of physical development and the effectiveness of psycho-motor reactions are within the limits of the age norm. However, the restoration of the functional capabilities of the respiratory system and the performance of the cardiovascular system in 9 % of the individuals of the group are at the lower limit of the norm, correspondingly affects the quality of their adaptive capacity.
