Constitution of the Republic of Croatia and the highest values
Abstract
Constitutional values as extensions of public reason are substantially determined the development, nature and life of classical and contemporary constitutionality. Positioned as a ''substance of the constitutional'' with the integrative function they do not cease to be subject of extensive and passionate interpretation. In the article the author presents and discusses the relationship between constitutionalism and constitutional values, their significance in the development of comparative constitutionalism, and particularly about their place, role and meaning of their existence in the context of contemporary transnational and national constitutional law.
