Analysis of thermal differences between the field and the city in the municipality of Viçosa, in the summer of 2014
Abstract
The present work is a result of the development of the project “Transformations and conformations of a landscape in (re) construction: The Case of Viçosa-MG.“, which objective was to analyze the temperature variation on the daily and hourly scales during 61 days in the summer period in 2014, in urban-rural environmental of Viçosa-MG the urban and the rural environment in the municipality of Viçosa-MG. It was, was used a technique of transept of fixed points with 6 sampling points, collected by alternative meteorological miniabrigades of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), containing a Hobo datalogger (model U10-003), in addition to relating the thermal records with measurements of Sky View Factor (SVF). Among the results was verified that the land use, as well as the SVF are important factors, which influence and define an influence of the urban environment of Viçosa, which differs from its surroundings, more evident at night.
