The article deals with the peculiarities of library advertising through social network Facebook. The most common forms of present policies in image libraries are analyzed. The analysis of using of social networks as a means of promoting library activities was conducted. The essence of term «advertising strategy library» is clarified. Examples of promotional strategies promoting products and services of libraries in the electronic environment are offered. The main functions of library pages in social network Facebook were defined on the basis of its analysis.
