There has been considered the evolution of views on infectious diseases. On the basis of current scientific evidence the opinion about the lead role of prokaryotes (bacteria and viruses) in human life was proved. Infectious disease is described as a «prokaryotes’ rebellion» due to the conflict of the human microbiota and exogenous microorganisms.
