Anexo I. El fondo Saer: preservación, organización, edición. Informe y reflexiones

Abstract

The object of this text is to describe the main characteristics of the bulk of papers found in Juan José Saer’s writing table after his death, to set and specify each step of the constitution of archives, and to announce the conditions and forms of a forthcoming publication for some of the unedited material. The idea is to rethink, by the means of description and narrative, a number of phenomena that intervene in this kind of process: the “inheritance” of authors, the point in preserving work documents, the different steps in the definition of a project, the observation of certain writing mechanisms and the series of questions raised by the posthumous edition of drafts, notes and unfinished texts.
