Tombs of the Third Intermediate Period on the Upper Terraceof the Temple of Hatshepsut
Abstract
A newly discovered necropolis on the Upper Terrace of the Temple of Hatshepsut was inuse from the Twenty-second until the beginning of the Twenty-sixth Dynasty. The archaeologicalmaterial coming from the backfill of the tombs proved to be mixed but datable. Interesting observationsconcern the structure and architecture of the tombs and their substructure.
