Review of Palaearctic species of the genus Ammocleonus Bedel, 1907 (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Lixinae) and place of the genus in the system of weevils of the tribe Cleonini

Abstract

In the paper morphological description of the genus Ammocleonus Bedel, 1907 is given, its position among representatives of psammophilous complex of Cleonini of Palaearctic is discussed, and a possible scenario of the early phylogeny of the tribe Cleonini is proposed
