‘Mal d'archive | Mal du musée’. Collections and Vertigos

Abstract

The article is about Derrida’s mal d’archive [archive fever] related to Blanchot’s mal du musée, and suggests a possible treatment of these two ‘maladies’ through museum practices leaning on the idea of ‘collection’ in order to bridge the gap between museum and public.
