Abstract

In the field of French-speaking literature, the French island of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon is hardly known and little explored. However, writer Eugène Nicole, in his autobiographical work, provided an in-depth narration of his “stone”. In the light of eco-geopoetics, his Oeuvre des mers delivers a singular and astonishing writing of “French Nordicity”.
