The Kalasin Transmission Method of Mor Lam Kalasin style, Wiraphong Wongsin
Abstract
This study aims 1) To study the history of Mo Lam Wiraphong Wongsin 2) To study the process of the Kalasin transmission of Mor Lam Wiraphong Wongsin Data collected from documents and in the field. The study was conducted between July 2019-December 2019. Research tools were unstructured interviews and observation The informational personnel consisted of Mor Lam Wiraphongwongsilp Pupils who have studied band members and presented the research results by descriptive analysis method. The results of the research showed that.- 1) Formerly Mo Lam Wiraphong Wongsilp was a professional barber Mor Lam Weerapong with a singing Ambition since childhood, want to have a band of his own Want to be Mor Lam Want and to get to know more people.This ambition was passed on from Teacher Tanjai Wan who was a trainer of the trunk and the dance. Moreover, he was gifted in this field and therefore was able to learn quickly. He began a full-fledged Mor-Lam occupation. At that time, only 19 years old, in 1983, he started out as a contractor for various jobs. Only later, in the year 2529 B.E., he began to become a Mor-lam artist in the Mor-lam faculty of Super San Kham. Mor Mor, the story to the poem, Kalasin Sarakhham is a famous Mo-mo in Maha Sarakham province. He got the role of a hero Mor Mor, in the story to the poem, Kalasin Sarakhham which has the nickname Rung Dawn at Phu Tai. In 2533, he relocated to the Blue Moram Group of Mor Lam. The story about a poem similar to Kalasin Sarakham was very famousat that time, traveling through the northeast in many provinces such as Roi Et, Yasothon, Kalasin, Khon Kaen, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom And Ubon Ratchathani. He was affiliated with this band for about 19 years doing more than playing the hero and later playing the father Phaya. Music fans responded to the popularity. He decided to start his own band in 2004, settingupafolk-rockband, Weerapong Wongsin, Phu Thai artist, that remains famous until today. 2) The process of broadcasting of Mor Lam Weerapong Wongsilp has a method of accepting disciples who are passionate about vocals. This involves studying on his own to understand the poem Lam and to assign the students to memorize poems without having to enter into the melody but focussing on accurately remembering the words in the poem and in the mind pronouncing each word clearly. Mo Lam Weeraphong Wong Sin will convey various melodies to provide students with demonstration methods. Let’s look at an example first and then start broadcasting. That melody with the pronunciation and the correct pitch of sound is removed each verse. The process of practicing this melody requires a lot of patience for the students because each verse must be pronounced correctly. The pitch of the poem must be correct according to the melody by comparing the sound of the can in which in each study, Mor Lam Virapong Wong Sin will record his own vocals for the students to take back to listen to or practice by themselves.
